Wild Awake Outdoors was founded by a wilderness guide who fell in love with the arctic landscapes of Northern Finland. Her dream is to share the peace and beauty of the wild, taking people to untrodden areas where the noise of engines doesn’t disturb the silence and the moonlight illuminates the way. It was amazing to be part of bringing this dream to life. In addition to the website and branding, I also contributed to content creation.
The nature-inspired color palette, carefully chosen typography, and earthy graphics emphasize the company’s commitment to high quality, providing personal experiences, and respecting the environment.
The logo is like a gateway to a new world – an adventure in the wild and untouched nature. The logo represents the landscapes of Finnish Lapland with its fells, alluding to the midnight sun, moonlit nights, and pristine waters.
The client requested a specific script font, which, when paired with a modern typeface, perfectly completes the overall look.
The fully custom WordPress website is adorned with illustrations ranging from icons to topographic maps and compass arrows. The landing page features an animation that dives into the landscape, designed according to the client's vision. It is visible only on the desktop version to ensure the best user experience.
To enhance conversions I created custom sales pages for the activities, replacing the traditional Bokun booking view and highlighting the uniqueness of the program services.
